Native file format of the source of the Adobe Illustrator. Vector based. The vector drawing program of industrial standard.
BMP:
The BMP is a standard format of the image of Windows in DOS and Windows-compatible computers. The BMP format supports RGB color modes, set in a color index, grayscale, and bitmap. You can specify the format of Windows or OS / 2 ® and a bit of depth to the image.
BMP images are normally written from bottom to top, but you can choose the order of the row to write to pull up and down. (The order of the row and pull the advanced modes are most relevant to developers and other game using DirectX.)
EPS:
The file format of the language of encapsulated PostScript (EPS) may contain vector graphics and image memory and is supported by virtually all graphic, illustration and page-programs available. The EPS format is used to transfer the illustrations from the Postscript language-between uses.
EPS format supports color modes lab, CMYK, RGB, color in a position index, Duotone, grayscale, and bitmap and does not support alpha channels. The EPS supports clipping paths. The Desktop Color Separations (DCS) format provides a standard format version of the EPS, except leave the color separations of CMYK images.
GIF:
The format for the interchange of graphics (GIF) is the file format for general use display graphics and images into a color-index documents in the language of profit margin of hypertext (HTML) on the World Wide Web and other online service. The GIF is an LZW-compressed format designed to minimize file size and time of transfer. GIF format preserves transparency in images into a color-index, but does not support alpha channels.
JPEG:
The format of the common photographic experts group (JPEG) is in general use display photographs and other continuous-tone images of documents in the language of profit margin of hypertext (HTML) on the World Wide Web and other online services. The JPEG format supports CMYK, RGB, and Grayscale color modes, and does not support alpha channels. Unlike GIF format, JPEG retains all color information in an RGB image file size but compresses selectively discarding data.
A high level of compression results in a lower quality of the image, and a lower level of compression results in better image quality.
PCX:
The PCX format is generally used by PC-compatible computers from IBM. Most of the software supports version 5 of PC PCX format. A color palette of standard VGA is used with version 3 files that do not support the color ranges of custom color.
The PCX format supports RGB color modes, set in a color index, grayscale, and bitmap and does not support alpha channels. PCX supports the compression method of RLE. The images can have a bit depth of 1, 4, 8 or 24.
Pdf:
The portable document format (pdf) is a flexible, cross-platform file format for cross-use. According to the model of the projection image of the postscript, PDF files accurately display and preserve fonts, page layouts, and vector graphics and image memory. In addition, PDF files may contain characteristics of the electronic document search and navigation links such as electronics.
PDF files are created using applications such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat, and can contain multiple pages and images.
PICT file:
The PICT format is widely used among the uses of graphics and page-file of Mac OS as an intermediary file format for transferring images between applications. The PICT format supports RGB images with a single alpha channel, and put into an index-color, grayscale, and bitmap-mode images without alpha channels. The PICT format is especially effective in image compression with extensive areas of solid color.
By saving an RGB image in PICT format, you can choose a resolution of 16 bits or 32 bits of the pixel. On Mac OS with QuickTime installed, four options for JPEG compression is available.
PICT resource:
(Mac OS) A PICT resource is a file in a PICT file of Mac OS ‘a resource fork s – for example, use ‘ a splash screen so the contents of the memory book . The use of PICT format supports RGB images with a single alpha channel, and put into an index-color, grayscale, and bitmap-mode images without alpha channels.
Pixar:
Pixar format is designed specifically for use in high-end graphics, such as those used for the images and animation of three-dimensional representation.
Png:
Become patent-free alternative to GIF format for portable network graphics (PNG) is used for lossless compression and displaying images on the World Wide Web. Unlike GIF, PNG supports 24 bit images and produces background transparency without jagged edges, but some web browsers do not support PNG images. The PNG format supports RGB, putting in an index color, grayscale, and bitmap-mode images without alpha channels.
PSD:
Format of Adobe Photoshop. The program memory of the graphics industry standard image.
Targa:
The format of TGA (Targa ®) is designed for systems using the Truevision ® video board and is supported by commonly uses color MS-DOS. Targa format supports 16-bit images from RGB (5 bits x 3 color channels, plus a bit unusual), 24 bit RGB images (8 bits x 3 color channels), and images of 32-bit RGB ( 8 bits x 3 color channels plus a single 8-bit alpha channel). Targa format also supports images in an index-put color and grayscale with alpha channels. By saving an RGB image in this format, you can choose a pixel depth and select RLE encoding to compress the image.
Tiff:
The file format of the Flag-Image (TIFF) is used to exchange files between applications and computer platforms. The TIFF format is a flexible memory image of the image supported by virtually all paint, image-editing, and uses the page-file.
The TIFF format supports CMYK, RGB, lab, putting on an index-color and grayscale images with alpha channels and bitmap-mode images without alpha channels.
